Solar Power Energy - What Does the Future Hold For Our Energy?

Solar Power Energy and other sources of energy need our urgent consideration, but why?

The world is in serious danger. The resources that we use to produce energy are slowly disappearing. Oil reserves are drying up. Trees are being cut down faster than they can grow back.

What’s to stop the whole world from having a complete loss of energy?

At this point, it may seem impossible. It’s closer than you think. We need to start using renewable resources, like wind and water, to provide the resources that we need.

If the United States Geological Survey is stating that there is only about 80 years of oil for the whole world to use, what are our children and grandchildren left with?

Zip, zilch, zero…absolutely nothing. What stumps me is why we are not using more of the ways to produce energy that have already been invented.

We have access to wind turbines. These huge windmills catch the wind and turn the turbines that turn it to energy. They are already being used and proven effective.

We also have access to water turbines. Dams create artificial lakes. When the dams are opened, the water flows. This powerful moving force turns turbines that produce energy.

We have the means to harness the immense power of the sun for Solar Power Energy. Solar panels capture the rays of the sun and convert them to energy. If you were to add the cost of installing solar panels for electricity in every new house that is built, there would be less of a depletion rate on our natural resources.

Think about it, without trying to do the actual math. There are millions of people on this planet. There are millions of houses being built every year. In the broad view, that’s a lot of resource conservation.

There’s still time left to make changes. For the most part, we are on the right track. We’ve created an effective means to use corn for energy. We created wind and water turbines. We’ve found a way to use the sun for something other than growing greenhouse vegetables.

Why is it so hard to use these methods on a larger, global scale?

If it’s the cost, there are more than enough people willing to come up with the funds. They understand all too well that are planet is slowly dying, and we need to take action….NOW.

If you’d like more info on this very critical subject, there are a number of online resources for harnessing the power of Solar Power Energy and other alternative sources of energy.
